Trabzon Atatürk Mansion is one of Turkey’s leading historical buildings. The mansion is located in the Soğuksu district of Trabzon, by the sea, and is famous for its magnificent sea views.

The mansion was built at the end of the 19th century. Originally, the house used by a Greek family was later bought by the Turkish government and used as Atatürk’s place of stay. Atatürk stayed here during his visit to Trabzon on July 15, 1937, and visited several times in the following years.

Trabzon Atatürk Mansion is a structure with typical Black Sea architecture. The three-story mansion stands out with its wide balconies, wooden claddings, and colored glasses. Inside, the furniture and other items used by Atatürk during his time are still preserved. The mansion is also used as a museum and provides visitors with information about Atatürk’s life.

The garden of the mansion is also quite impressive. The garden, spread over a wide area, dazzles with its colorful flowers and natural vegetation. The types of trees and special plants loved by Atatürk located in the garden impress visitors along with the historical texture of the mansion.
